After Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008 and a successful run at Bradford Playhouse last year Spice of Life is back with an updated script and new dance routines.
A Bollywood extravaganza which traces the colourful history of the Indian musical from its cinematic roots to Oscar-winning international popularity: a glittering finale to the festival!
With curry as Britain's favourite dish, Hindi words peppering our language and the world's hunger for its delicious glamour, Bollywood is indeed the ‘Spice of Life'.
Taking joy and colour far beyond the Asian community, this is Indian culture as a positive, unifying, uplifting force.
The ‘Spice of Life' spectacle originates from here in our Yorkshire communities, with performers from a wide range of backgrounds. They're united in their energy, enthusiasm and sheer love of Bollywood song and dance.
Doubtless a similarly diverse audience will enjoy a show that transcends culture and nationality through its positive love for life!
